George H.W. Bush, shown above trying to salute McCain and failing, will reportedly endorse Republican presidential candidate John McCain in a press conference on Monday in Houston.
McCain is likely hoping that the former president will help him earn the trust of the conservative base that he’s having trouble convincing currently, and help weed out the final Republican candidate, Mike Huckabee. Bush’s son, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, also recently endorsed McCain.
