“Out of the Republican Handbook”: Hillary Slings Mud, Mistakenly Thinks She Was President

Apparently what happens in Vegas really does stay in Vegas. At the Las Vegas Democratic debate last week, Hillary, pictured above smothering a child for her lunch money, responded to attacks from her opponents on her many legitimate weaknesses by criticizing them for “throwing mud” and using tactics “right out the Republican playbook.” Ignoring the fact that the there have only been two Democrat Presidents in the past 39 years and that the Republican playbook might be a pretty effective one, Hillary’s condemnation towards her competitors for pointing out her flaws and weaknesses under the guise of calling clean politics was already pretty flawed. However, Hillary proved on Monday that she doesn’t practice what she preaches.

When talking about the economy Hillary decided to play in the mud when she attacked Obama’s supposed lack of experience.

“There is one job we can’t afford on-the-job training for — that’s the job of our next president,” Mrs. Clinton said in Knoxville, Iowa.

I didn’t know there was a president training course! Apparently Hillary has taken it. It seems to me that the only person who wouldn’t need “on-the-job training” for the role of president would be an incumbent who has already held the position. Hillary seems to forget that she actually wasn’t the president, but rather his wife. However, Obama remembered as much as he dismissed the attack with both dignity and humor.

“My understanding was that she wasn’t Treasury secretary in the Clinton administration, so I don’t know exactly what experiences she’s claiming,” Mr. Obama said. “I think she’s a capable person. She’s been a senator, like I have. But rather than just assert experience, if she has specific differences with me with respect to economic policy, I’m happy to have those debates.”

Also in the same article is a quick comparison between Obama and Clinton’s stances on Social Security.

While Mr. Obama has offered specifics, like raising the level of income subject to Social Security taxes, Mrs. Clinton has proposed a bipartisan commission to study the issue and to spare either party the blame for any changes in benefits.

So Hillary’s plan is to have somebody else come up with a plan? Oh! Oh! She’s getting my vote!
