Howard Dean calls for superdelegates to decide

DNC chair Howard Dean appeared on CNN and said that now is the time for superdelegates to make up their minds.

I need them to say who they’re for starting now. We cannot give up two or three months of active campaigning and healing time. We’ve got to know who our nominee is.

With the Democratic race getting nastier and nastier, Dean is hoping that the race can be resolved before the convention in August in order for the Democratic nominee to have more time to campaign and shake off the bad vibes from the primary race.

  1. Ooo! I pick Obama!

  2. Me too! (And funny enough, so does the rest of the country… Someone should let Hil know…)

  3. Take your own advice, Dean! You’re a superdelegate! Who are you voting for, tough guy???

  4. He needs to set an example, if a party leader calling for superdelegates to decide hasn’t decided yet, how can he expect another to choose?

  5. Well, people would freak the fuck out if he did and say that he wasn’t giving voters in the remaining states to have a chance to vote. Plus, as the chair of the party he is supposed to be as neutral as possible, so if he endorsed Obama now, the Clinton’s would freak out that the party was rigged and all their voters would get pissed and vote for McCain.
